When you’re meeting someone new for the first time, what is it about them that intrigues you the most?

Is it how quiet they are, or how loud they are?

Is it how tall they are, or how short they are?

Is it their love for politics, or their hate for it?

Is it the people that move quickly, or the people that move slowly?

Is it a gentle smile, or a solemn stare?

Is it the clothes they wear?

Is it how they smell?

Is it the conversation about something you know very well, or the conversation about something entirely foreign to you?

Is it the friend of a friend, or the absolute stranger?

Is it how much they profess the love of God, or how they stifle it?

Is it the pain in their eyes, or the joy?

Is it the food they order from the menu, or the way they pronounce the menu item to the server?

What makes an interesting person?

Is it an act of kindness, or an act of defense?

Is it the outrageous, or the conservative?

Is it the familiar, or the irregular?

Is it the comfortable, or the uncomfortable?

Is it the unreachable, or the tangible?

Is it their dreams, or their goals?

What makes an interesting person?

Is it how they walk, or how they talk?

Or how they sway, or how they sing?

Or how they introduce themselves, or how they greet their friends?

What makes an interesting person?

…?
